In this guide, we will cover how to calculate the cost of emeralds in other currencies on paypal. At the moment, paypal will show currencies in EUROs, but that maybe be confusing if you are residing in the United States, or other parts of the world, where the common currency may be different. Before you make your purchase, follow these steps to know the exact amount you will be paying in your local currency. The example will be for "USD (United States Dollars)", but you maybe input a different currency for calculations.
Step 1
On paypal, click "Money" at the top, and then "Manage Currency" on the following page.
Step 2
Select new currency, and add "Euro" as an alternate currency. Then, make Euro the primary currency (temporarily).
Step 3
Input amount you plan in the "From" field as indicated on the picture to the right. As example, "199 Euros" will be calculated in USD. Under the "To" dropdown, select "U.S. Dollar Balance". Finally, click "Calculate" to see the amount in USD you will spend for 199 Euros.
When finished, simply switch Primary currency back to USD (or your local currency).
