== Overview ==

The Arena can be accessed by a character of any level. And it should not be confused with the Arena in Fragotown. In the bottom right of the Quick Access Toolbar is a special button, "Arena", that is used to register and participate in this game. The game will have the following schedule:

* Monday - 20:00 to 24:00 S-Cross Server Time.
* Wednesday - 20:00 to 24:00 S-Cross Server Time.
* Saturday - 14:00 to 24:00 S-Cross Server Time.
* Sunday - 12:00 to 19:30 S-Cross Server Time.

== Subscription Form ==

You can subscribe to this competition from anywhere in Fragoria. By pressing the '' 'Arena' '' button, you will see a message confirming your transfer to the S-Cross Arena waiting area. If you accept, your character will be teleported to the Eye of the Storm, a peaceful waiting area.

Once in the waiting area, pressing the '' 'Arena' '' button again will show a subscription form with character rating, stats, Arena schedule, and two other buttons: subscribe and unsubscribe. There is also a timer that shows how long you've been waiting for a game to start.

You can subscribe alone, or as a group, according to the following rules:
# If your character is not a member of a group, it will be teamed in a group with other single characters.
# If your character is in a group, but is not a leader, then you are subscribed as a single player.
# If your character is the leader of a group of four characters, the whole group is subscribed together.
# If your character is the leader of a group of more than four characters, then subscription is not possible.
Once you subscribe, team members are assigned (if signed as a single player), and the opponent group is chosen among those who subscribed to the game. Once the team is formed, your team, after obtaining consent of the parties, is teleported to the Arena game.

If while waiting for the start of the game a player unsubscribes, then the "Deserter" influence is placed on the character, banning it from Arena battles for 15 minutes.

=== Selection of Grouped Teams ===
Grouped teams are paired against each other based on the following parameters:
# Maximum level.
# Total rating.
# Amount of wins within the last 10 fights.
# Gearscore. In this case, actual character Gearscore is not used in calculations. Instead, maximum value Gearscore is used.

=== Selection of Single Character Teams ===
First, character of highest level will be chosen at random, then characters based on the following parameters:
# Level
# Rating
# Gearscore

== Gameplay ==
Gaming location is randomly selected from three possible maps, but each of them consists of the following common elements:
# Two zones for the teams: red and blue. Team color is also determined randomly before the game. Zones can be isolated or open depending on the phase of the game.
# Central field between the two command areas. The location can be arranged in different ways and contain impassable obstacles.
During the first phase of the game, the teams are in their isolated areas. After one minute, players can use potions and cast buffs. After the timer runs out, command zone opens and main playing field becomes available. The active phase lasts 3 minutes. Victory is achieved when one team outscores the other, kills all members of the opponent team, or timer expires, in which the winning team is determined based on number of members alive.

After the end of the active phase, the teams are transferred into their respective zones, the exits are blocked, and character life/mana are fully restored. This break lasts 30 seconds. The next round of the active phase takes place with the same rules as the first active phase. If the same team wins again, a victory is scored. If not, then the active phase will be repeated a third and final time.

== Rating ==
After the game, each participant's rating level and ranking points are calculated. Basic rating level of each character is 1000. Rating is calculated for each character separately: increased for a win, and decreased during losses. The maximum value of the rating is 3000. There is a limit to obtain a rating: character levels below 50 cannot be rated above 2000, between 51-60 - above 2200, and between 61-70 - more than 2400. Characters 71 and above have access to all rating levels.

Ranking points are calculated according to a certain formula. Depending on the character's level, there is the base number of points, then an amount dependent on victory or loss, that is the difference in the total rating level and Gearscore between the teams.

== Arena Points ==
Arena points a player receives for each fight are a form of currency, and they can be used to purchase prizes. When calculating the points gained, the basic amount depends on the character level, the difference in the maximum level between winners and losers, the difference in the overall ranking, the total number of wins, and the total gearscores. In addition, going against characters in the same alliance or guild results in more points during victory.

== Prizes ==
Prizes are given by a statue in the center of Eye of Storm map. The following are necessary for trade:
* Rating. Prizes are available based on your rating value.
* Arena Points. These are spent upon purchase.
* Emeralds.
All received awards in the Arena are binded to the character and cannot be unbinded.

=== Dust Sets ===
Gem Dusts are used for item reforging. Each item has it's corresponding Gem Dust for either Fire or Wind. After reforging an item to a dust element (like Fire), it can be reforged again to Wind element to replace the set bonuses. You cannot unbind items reforged with Gem Dusts.
