What is FlashPlayer and why is it necessary?

FlashPlayer - this is the program module ([plugin]), which makes it possible to play video files, animation and games in the browser (for example, Firefox, InternetExplorer) and the operating system (WindowsXP, Vista, Linux, MacOS). Thus, FlashPlayer is the connecting link between the interactive program and the operating system.

FlashPlayer is available free of charge from its developer company Adobe.
