A new PvP game "Tank Breakthrough" is available under "Subscription" icon in the "Event" tab.

This game appeared in March 2017 during the spring festival.

Three tank crews take part in the game. Each crew includes 3 characters with different functions. The main goal of the game is to destroy the final boss during the time given.

Crew Members

To participate you need 9 characters of the following level ranges:

  • 25-34
  • 35-44
  • 45-54
  • 55-64
  • 65-74
  • 75-84
  • 85+

You can subscribe for a game individually or with a group of 3 characters (Note the level range).

Phase 1 After running a game, you'll have a preparation phase of 20 seconds duration. Characters are divide into 3 groups, and 3 characters in each group.

Phase 2 Phase duration is 10 minutes. Each group gets into its "tank". Characters take different positions in the crew.

Types of Crew Members

Each group occupies a tank. The crew happens by chance:

  • 1. Driver: This character drives the tank. The driver can pick up shield-shaped buffs from the location and increase the tank armor.
  • 2. Firing pointer. This character chooses the target to attack with the gun. This character chooses the area for attack. Also, Firing Pointer can pick up fist-shaped buffs for damage increasing.
  • 3. Mechanic. Restores HP of the crew with the help of "Physician" (affects only one member of the crew) and "Aidman" (affects the whole group) skills. This character fights the fire with the help of "Extinguisher" skill in case the Stove got the burning fuel inside. The character can pick up heart-shaped buffs for the stove strength increasing.

You can pick up buffs if they are up to 2-cell distance to the stove.

Character's classes don't influence the role, and the player can perform any function in the crew.

If one the crew members loses all HP, he is out of the game for 15 seconds, and the character can't perform his function in the crew. The crew is out of the battle only if the stove is destroyed completely. You can see Stove Armour stat in the window on your left.

Enemies

You can meet different obstacles and enemies on your way:

  • Anti-tank hedgehogs. If the "Tank" drives into it, then its chassis damages and the moving speed reduces. Hedgehogs can be destroyed by the shot from the gun.
  • Minefields. You can't see the mines, but the gunshot will destroy all explosive in the target area and will allow you to move forward.
  • Exploding firethings. Creatures, which run directly to your tank and self-destroy.
  • Elusive throwers. Creatures which throw the burning fuel to the tank
  • Infected drowned. Creatures, which are patrolling the area.
  • Soul Eater. Game Boss. You can kill this creature in 3 phases:

1/3 HP loss. There appear 4 copies of the boss with HP 3 times less than original and damages 3 times less, as well.

2/3 HP loss. The Boss creates 12 traps: 6 slowdown and 6 fire traps. Traps apply DoT debuff damaging the Tank during 8 seconds.

7/8 HP loss. The Boss creates 15 monsters and becomes immune to auto attack. You need to finish the Boss for the short time with the Tank gun shots, else the Soul Eater will restore its HP.

Rewards

All characters completeing the game and located in the same area with the boss get the following items as the award:

Free chest: 20 Signs of Commander 10 Medals of Valor

Chest for 4000 emeralds: 35 Signs of Commander 50 Medals of Valor

You can exchange the medals for weapon and shield jewels at the Unknown soldier.

STEPWISE GUIDE

Game's beginning and general recommendations

After running a game, define your position and crew members' positions first. These are the following ways to do that. All players write their role to the chat. You can oversee your crew members choosing them in the list of the group to the right. 'Wheel" symbol means a driver; a 'cross' symbol means the mechanic, and a 'gun' symbol means firing pointer.

Drivers should start leading their tanks forward following the main rules below:

Tanks are impassable, so it is necessary to keep in mind that you may hinder other's movements. Move carefully. If you drive your tank directly into the crowd of enemies, you will lose the endurance of the tank and will be stuck in a company of 'Infected drowned' Use the keyboard to move instead on the mouse. It'll help to run the tank better. Watch the buffs on the location and think which one will be useful for you. The buff which can be picked up by a crew member depends on you.

Firing pointer should ensure fast targeting and target destroying. The best strategy is:

Use the key of fast targetting of the closest monster. In this case, the gun will target the monster itself and open the fire. Use the gunshots carefully. The Salvo fire ability has a long-term cooldown. When activating the ability, the shoot isn't immediate but you can see the firing area, after that, you should choose the area and finally shoot clicking left mouse key. Choose the area with a bunch of monsters to destroy.

The mechanic constantly watches the Durability of the tank, and also watches crew member's HP. Recommendations:

Memorise the positions and the meaning of abilities. The first one heals the chosen member of the crew. The second one extinguishes the tank (you will find out that your tank is burning by the red highlighting of your screen). The third one heals all crew at once. Your buff is a Heart should be prioritized for the crew in most cases. Feel free to write to the Driver, so he could drive closer to the Heart and you could pick it up in order to restore the durability of the tank.

Elusive throwers 1 The first enemies you will face are Elusive throwers. Destroy them in accordance with general recommendations.

Exploding firethings After you have fought Elusive throwers, you will meet Exploding firethings. They appear in the game only once. They damage the area around them after death. Recommendations:

The best strategy to fight them is when one crew takes Elusive throwers out to the area where you faced Elusive throwers. Otherwise, your tanks will disturb others when retreating. Firing pointers should choose the moment of the shot carefully and target the biggest crowd of monsters. It is highly likely that some tanks may shoot at a time. To avoid that, Firing pointers should fire in a row: from the closest one to the monsters to the most distant one.

Mine area 1 The mine area begins right after the actual sign on the location.

Mines can be destroyed with gunshots. The Drivers should locate the tanks in a row, one by one, and drive the tanks along the edge of the location. The Firing pointers should shoot one by one from the first to the last tank, so the firing area would be along the location and before the chain tracks of the leading tank. Mines explosion is visible, so the driver of the first tank should cross the precise firing area. At the bottom edge of the location the mines come to an end, so you can move to the right with more free space.

Elusive throwers 2 Follow the general recommendations

Infected drowned These monsters raid their part of the map and they move from the top to the bottom and back. They have a limited area of attack, so you can avoid them by keeping distance.

Do not attack them. They have the higher level of HP, there are many of them and they are able to block your movements. Firing pointers should destroy Anti-tank hedgehogs which are situated at the edge of the location. If you failed to do that, wait until the delay effect ends.

The drivers should wait for a moment when the first group of monsters reaches the top edge of the raid area, and right after that, they can start moving forward. Drive fast, moving along the bottom edge of the area. Your aim is a firing area at the end of the location.

Mine area 2 The general recommendation is like the previous ones. But this time you should move to the centre of the area to the opposite wall. You should start turning only when the wall is reached.

Boss The firing pointer should set the button "Choosing of the next monster" Start firing the boss with gunshots. When the boss creates copies, do the following:

Firing pointers should find a monster with 190KK of HP using the key. This monster is the boss. It can be destroyed only with gunshots. If firing pointers have picked the buff up, the boss can be killed in 2 shots.
